Fredrik Strømstad (EN)
Fredrik Strømstad – Playmaker and Club legend.
Fredrik played in the midfield and started his career in IK Start in 2002. He played for the club until the summer of 2008 when he was sold to the French club Le Mans.
After a couple of years in France, he was loaned back to Start on August 26th, 2010. After the 2012 season, he decided to retire from being a professional footballer.

Fredrik Strømstad has been a part of IK Start since he was 4 years old, except for a short period in Oslo and the two years he was in Le Mans (France).
He is known as a loyal and creative midfielder with great stamina and understanding of the game.
Fredrik Strømstad played a total of 251 matches for Start and he wore jersey number 7 for most of his career. He was a big part of the team that won silver medals in the top division in 2005.
Fredrik got his debut for the Norwegian National team in October of 2005 when Norway played a World Cup qualifier against Belarus. He played 18 matches for Norway and scored 2 goals. Those goals both came in 2006 against Hungary and Moldova. He also played several matches for Norway's Youth teams.
After his playing career, he has been involved with the club as a board member, and outside of football, he is well known for his great humor and talent to do parodies of well-known celebrities.
